MSI introduced a tandem of graphics adapters GeForce GTX 680 Twin Frozr with 4 GB memory

The Taiwanese company MSI has released a new video card N680GTX Twin Frozr 4GB, built on the basis of the reference PCB GeForce GTX 680 with double buffer memory GDDR5 and cooling system Twin Frozr III. The accelerator is available in standard and OC versions: one operates at frequencies of 1006 (1058) / 6008 MHz core (GPU Boost), and RAM chips, respectively, the second — in 1058 (1124) / 6008 MHz.



Preset cooler consists of five nickel-plated copper heatpipes, copper base, a solid array of aluminum fins and two 80-mm fans designed with blades Propeller Blade. The board is placed on two expansion slots (38.75 mm in height) and supports graphics ligament-4Way SLI. The additional power is supplied by two connectors PCI-E Power 6-pin. A set of standard video outputs: DVI-I, DVI-D, full-size HDMI and DisplayPort.

PNY Debuts with GeForce GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti Adapters

PNY, following an echelon of graphics cards manufacturers, has launched its own versions of Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 750 adapters. The PNY GeForce GTX 750 and PNY GeForce GTX 750 Ti are based on power-efficient Maxwell architecture that does not compromise on performance. Both new-comers operate at etalon frequencies and are thought to provide entry-level customers with some outstanding facilities. The preliminary retail price of models makes up $124 and $149 for GTX 750 and Ti version correspondingly.



The PNY GeForce GTX 750 employs GM107-300 GPU (512 CUDA cores), whereas the PNY GeForce GTX 750 Ti is equipped with GM107-400 GPU (640 CUDA cores). Both run at 1020 MHz (nominal) / 1085 MHz (boost) clock frequency. The products are differentiated also by the incorporation of video memory.

Hence, HGST, an affiliate company of Western Digital, decided to comply with the corporate demands by introducing budgetary hard drives entitled Ultrastar C10K1800. The new-comers are targeting exactly DPC-systems which are in need of high performance combined with fail-safe behavior.



HGST Ultrastar C10K1800 drives feature 2.5-inch form-factor and come in diverse capacity variations (from 300 GB to 1.8 TB). The models employ SAS interface with 12 Gb/sec throughput. It should be noted that designers involved the minimal amount of plates on the maximal possible tape density. The latter are thought to rotate with 10.520 RPM.
