The 24.5” VG258Q Gaming Display from ASUS supports the Adaptive-Sync Technology

The ASUSTeK Computer vendor has lately introduced the 24.5-inch gaming monitor under the VG258Q code name. The product features rather thin bezels, the peculiar stand and the presence of stereospeakers (2 × 2 W).

 

ASUS VG258Q obtained the anti-reflection coated TN matrix and 1 ms (GtG) response time at the Extreme Low Motion Blur mode activation. Gamers will be glad to hear the device supports 144 Hz refresh rate and syncs with the vertical frequency, ensured by the PC graphics adapter (Adaptive-Sync).

 

The monitor by ASUS is able to render 16.7M shades, while covering 72 % of the NTSC colour gamut. Viewing angles are 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. The maximum brightness level claimed is 400 cd/m², and the static contrast is 1000:1.

Asus Launches a Wide Range of Nvidia Maxwell-Based Adapters

Asus is the one to introduce the largest assortment of graphics adapters based on a fresh Nvidia Maxwell GPU. The range of suggested products involves two models from Asus GeForce GTX 750 series and three models from Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti series. All five new-comers are differentiated by an ameliorated PCB design with the incorporation of Super Alloy Power components.



The GTX 750 series consists of GTX750-PH-1GD5 and GTX750-PHOC-1GD5 cards. Both of them come with an integrated Nvidia GM107-300 GPU, equipped with 512 CUDA cores. The first model operates at 1020 MHz/1085 MHz (nominal/boost) frequency, whereas its companion runs at 1059 MHz/1137 MHz.
