Gigabyte to Unveil a High-End Graphics Card GV-N770OC-2GD

Gigabyte has enriched its arsenal of graphics solutions with a new card, based on GeForce GTX 770 adapter. Graphics card GV-N770OC-2GD is a modified version of an etalon product that might offer a whole spectrum of capabilities that attract potential customers so much. Outstanding performance, factory overclocking, high-quality hardware basis, and an upgraded cooling system, codenamed Windforce 3X 450W, make this product a cherished acquirement.

Gigabyte GV-N770OC-2GD is based on GK104 graphics core, designed under 28 nm Kepler micro-architecture. This GPU features 1536 CUDA cores, 128 TMUs and 32 ROPs. Its nominal clock frequency makes up 1137 MHz, while the support of GPU Boost 2.0 technology overclocks the card up to 1187 MHz.

Upon the whole, this card employs PCI Express 3.0 x16 interface and houses two additional PCI power sockets (6-contact and 8-contact). A panel of external interfaces boasts the availability of four video outputs, including DisplayPort, HDMI, DL DVI-D, and DL DVI-I. Memory subsystem is introduced by 2 GB of GDDR5 modules. They feature 256-bit interface and operate at 1752 MHz in nominal mode (up to 7008 MHz on overclocking).

Cooler Windforce 3X 450W deserves special attention, since it is able to provide efficient cooling to GPUs with TDP index of 450 W. This cooler consists of a two-section heatsink, united by six heat pipes, and three 80 mm fans. The implemented heat pipes unite not only the two heatsink sections but are also connected with its base to promote for a better contact with GPU. The card, together with the cooler, takes only two slots and achieves 30 mm in length.

The list of supported technologies is practically analogous to the ones incorporated by other GeForce GTX 770-based adapters: OpenGL 1.2, DirectCompute 11, Shader Model 5.0, DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2, and Nvidia’s SLI, PhysX, PureVideo HD, GPU Boost 2.0, 3D Vision, Adaptive VSync.
