Dell announces the release of the 13th-generation of 4-socket servers under PowerEdge family. The PowerEdge R830 and the PowerEdge R930 are targeting corporate customers who search for an efficient solution for remote office work. Moreover, the company introduces the PowerEdge FX2 & the PowerEdge M1000e platforms as well as the PowerEdge M830 and the PowerEdge FC830 blade-servers on the basis of Intel Xeon E5-4600 v4 CPUs.



Dell PowerEdge R830 proves to be an ideal solution for huge databases and virtual desktops. Combining four Intel CPUs & 48 DIMM memory modules, this model is able to ensure a balance of flexibility, scalability and solidity on the deployment of horizontally scalable virtual platforms as well as the deployment of virtual desktop infrastructure.

Raijintek Intros High-Efficiency CPU Cooler Entitled Nemesis

Raijintek, a young but future-proof company, has recently showcased another addition to its CPU cooling solutions – the Nemesis. This is a tower-like model targeting initially overclockers and PC enthusiasts. It features 140x130x166.5 mm dimensions and weighs 1050 g. The fans of extreme cooling can enjoy all privileges of Nemesis right now, since it’s already available for pre-order in the European market for the retail price of 60 EUR.



Raijintek Nemesis consists of a copper base, five nickel-plated U-shape heatpipes, and a pair of asymmetric aluminum heatspreaders, accompanied by two fans of 140x150x25 mm standard. The fans are manipulated by powers of PWM technology, so their speed might vary from 600 RPM to 1400 RPM.


Their unified efficiency achieves 119 CFM of produced airflow; that is quite enough to cool down rather hot CPUs. Moreover, the framework allows to utilize the cooler as in active, so in passive mode when the loading is low.

A New Portable WD G-Technology SSD Drive Is Believed to Sustain Falling from the 3 m Height

The novelty from Western Digital – a portable SSD drive under the G-Technology brand (namely the R-Series G-Drive Mobile SSD) – is to see the world by the end of the year. This product is aimed at photographers, video bloggers and content creators. Out of the box customers get a device, formatted for Mac-operated computers, however, when reformatted, it becomes compatible with the Windows OS.



The G-Drive Mobile SSD complies with the IP67 standard, so it is dust- and water-protected. This storage device, performed in a rugged enclosure, is said to sustain falling from the 3 m height on a carpeted concrete surface.


The WD specialty supports a USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface, ensuring the bandwidth capacity of up to 10 Gbps. A reversible USB Type-C port is also present. The reported rate of transmission comes to 560 MBps. The overall capacity equals to 500 GB, 1 and 2 TB.
