Gigabyte Unveils X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming Pro Mainboard

Gigabyte is glad to announce a real godsend to advanced gaming or business-oriented systems in the shape of its newest mainboard. The X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming Pro model is developed in ATX form-factor. It is based on Intel X299 chipset, supporting Intel Core X CPUs for Socket LGA2066 platforms. The core is accompanied by 8-DIMM slots for the installation of up to 128 GB DDR4-4400 MHz memory which is able to operate in 4-channel mode.

Gigabyte X299 Aorus Ultra Gaming Pro motherboard offers the possibility to install RDIMM memory modules; their volume might be increased up to 512 GB. Storage subsystem consists of three M.2 Socket 3 connectors as well as eight SATA 6 Gb/sec ports. Expansion facilities are ensured by 5x PCI Express x16 slots; all of them are predestined for powerful graphics adapters (3-way configurations). The PCB brags about Dual Armor, Ultra Durable and Server-class Digital Power design.  

Network subsystem is introduced by Intel I219-V LAN controller which enables traffic prioritizing + Killer Wireless-AC 1525 adapter, embracing 802.11ac Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 4.1 modules. Sound subsystem boasts the incorporation of the prime-quality Realtek ALC1220 controller; the block consists of WIMA audio capacitors, Smart headphone AMP & Sound BlasterX 720 audio engine.
 
 Meanwhile, the I/O panel comes equipped with 6x 3.5-mm audio ports, a single PS/2, a single RJ-45, 4x USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1xUSB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, 4x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports (support for Digital USB Fuse design).
 
Particular attention should be given to the RGB Fusion backlight. It adds to the mainboard’s aggressive and eye-catching design. This backlight provides opportunity to control LED strips & setup their operational modes ( speed settings, 9 patterns) thanks to the employment of Digital LED utility.
