Enermax Outs High-Flown Twister Pressure Fan

One of the major requirements for an efficient CPU cooler is a high static pressure. The higher this index is, the more productive the blades are. Quite the contrary, the main requirement for a system fan is a volume of produced airflow, since it affects the air circulation within the case. Taking into account those facts, Enermax decided to elaborate a fan that would unite both demands. That is how Twister Pressure fan came into the market.

Enermax Twister Pressure is a high-efficiency fan targeting to be implementing within CPU cooling solutions. It is based on Twister Bearing 2, which framework has been optimized for a reliable operation under unfavorable thermal conditions (up to 85 degrees) and under high dust content. The second version of Twister Bearing is supposed to run over 160.000 hours in fail-proof mode; this is 60% more than the initial version could perform.

The Specialty by Nvidia Is Built on the GV100 GPU and Possesses an NVLink Interface

Just a year ago enthusiasts got a chance to try out the Quadro GP100 graphics accelerator. And already today they are ready to meet its successor – Quadro GV 100, belonging to the designated Nvidia graphics adapters family.


As one may see from its name, the product relies on the 12 nm GV100 graphics processing unit, based on the Volta architecture. Nvidia Quadro GV100 utilizes 5,120 CUDAs, 640 Tensor cores (intended for deep learning and AI-related tasks completion), and the memory bus of 4,096 lines, interacting with 32 GB of HBM2 RAM. The level of raw computational power reaches 14.8 tera floating point operations per second.


The graphics card is chilled by a two-slot cooler with a radial fan, while the rated TDP is 250 W. A supplementary power supply may be linked via 8- and 6-pin PCI-E Power interfaces. Besides, there are four DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs at the rear panel of this device.

Cooler Master Showcases G-Series PSUs

Along with the launch of new PC chassis, Cooler Master is ready to release new G-series power supply units. The series is introduced by three models – G500, G600 and G700 – with 500W, 600W and 700W power, respectively. All of them correspond to ATX12V v2.3 standard, support Active PFC option and a range of protection tools (from short circuit, overvoltage, current overload, power overload). Moreover, these units employ a dual EMI-filter and take benefit from a single 120 mm fan with automatic speed control functions.

Cooler Master G-series PSUs have been felicitated with 80Plus Bronze certificate, due to their high efficiency (approximately 85%) and an estimated mean time between failures of 100.000 hours. The two junior models, G500 and G600, are able to operate at 456W and 576W load, correspondingly, on +12V rail.
