Asus has recently showcased one more high-end PC monitor – the PB238TR. It features 23 inch display and boasts 549x323.7x244.5 mm dimensions (with stand). The model is peculiar by the support of Human Sensor technology. The latter keeps track of the user’s presence; on his absence for a predetermined time period, the monitor turns to a standby mode. This promotes for a well-judged power consumption, resulting in a dramatic cost efficiency.



Asus PB238TR is based on IPS array with 6 ms response time and Full HD resolution (1920x1080). IPS ensures also a perfect color rendering, wide viewing angles (178/178 degrees in both aspects), 250 cd/m2 maximal brightness, as well as a striking dynamic contrast of 50M:1. The monitor is equipped with the 27-inch IPS panel with 2.560 x 1.440 resolution, so you do not need such a powerful video card as for a 34-inch display with a resolution of 3.440 x 1.440 pixels and UHD monitors. The maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz is quite high, in combination with AMD FreeSync technology the user gets a very smooth gameplay. The bottom bar of FreeSync is 35 Hz. But Eizo has other trump cards in the sleeve. For example, a customer can manage the Foris FS2735 using a smartphone, communicating with the cloud. And it is possible to share your own settings with other gamers.
