The Novelty from Acer – a Curved 27” Full HD ED273Awidpx Monitor
This month Acer is going to start retailing of its novelty – a 27-inch Full HD monitor, called ED273Awidpx.

The specialty is based on the curved VA panel with the 1920 × 1080 px resolution. This display features the 4 ms response time and the 144 Hz refresh rate. Its brightness index reaches 250 cd/m2 and contrast level – 3000:1 (with the dynamic contrast coming up to 100 000 000:1). Viewing angles are 178 degrees (horizontally and vertically).
ED273Awidpx supports AMD FreeSync technology, which synchronizes image frequency between a graphics card and a monitor. Dedicated systems protect user’s eyes, while removing flicker and reducing blue backlighting intensity.
Signal sources connection is performed via digital DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces. The stand allows angle of tilt adjusting in the range of 20°. The screen weighs 4.6 kg and has such dimensions: 613 × 168 × 466 mm.
The Acer Co. has estimated its ED273Awidpx product to cost around 360 USD.
