Trojan.Encoder.94 Transgresses All Permitted Limits

The past few weeks have become a real calamity for the users of personal computers and other devices all over Europe. This calamity is triggered by the massive attacks of new encoder program Trojan.Encoder.94. Last week the encoder reached the borders of several countries in Latin America which could not but harass all customer community. So far the companies, which make business on developing antivirus systems, cannot find the ways of preventing the penetration of encoder, despite multiple notifications and urgent security measures from the customers’ part.

The operation chart of Trojan.Encoder.94 is targeted mainly on user files. Once the program gets into the system, it immediately encodes all data in PC or other device. Text, graphic, audio and video files fall under encoding, and when the user tries to open the needed file, the program displays the notification which contains information about the possible methods of error removal. All of those methods dwindle down to a single point: the user needs to pay the predetermined amount for the decryption. IT specialists say that the major distinctive feature of the raging Trojan.Encoder.94 is English-speaking interface.

Dr.Web’s team has already found effective methods of PC cure from the malicious program. Company’s representatives assert that currently there are only five Trojan.Encoder.94 modifications. All those modifications do not differ from one another per se, except of different encryption keys. The operation scheme is identical with all modifications which stimulates for faster antivirus development.

There are still promising tendencies in the fight with Trojan.Encoder.94. Dr.Web’s technical team tries to react on all customer requests in a matter of seconds. This enacts the effective work on the decryption of the encoded data. Decryption statistics for the past several weeks show that practically one hundred percent of all data decryption requests were managed successfully. Company’s team assumes that the immediate customer appeal for technical support and urgent response to the requests are the guarantee of decryption success. What is more, it is highly recommended to avoid unassisted actions directed towards encoder elimination as far as any unauthorized action might garble the data. This might impose additional difficulties in data decryption.
