  • sagedus buss (CPU Clock). Et hajutada protsessor teatud tasemel tulemuslikkust, saab automaatselt või käsitsi konfigureerida väärtus taktsagedus buss;
  • pinge kernel/cpu tuumade. Pinge tuuma kasutamisel maksimum režiimis tavaliselt kõigub 1.5-1.75 V. realiseerimise eesmärgil оверклокинга pinge on vaja suurendada (tähtaeg – kuni 1.85);
  • cache-mälu. Iga kaasaegne protsessor on varustatud kiire cache-mälu. Selle peamine ülesanne – hoida sagedamini kasutatavad andmed ja juhised viivitamata ühiskasutusse anda. Eest optimeerimine vahemälu vastavad spetsiaalsed draiverid töötlejad;
  • energia tarbimine. Peaaegu kõik uuemad versioonid protsessoriga varustatud mehhanismid energiasäästu ja ka kaitse funktsioone. Esimene eesmärk on vähendada energia tarbimist, kui erineval määral koormust CPUja teine eesmärk on kaitsta kiibile ülekuumenemise tõstmisel pinge/sageduse keelates plokid maksimaalse koormusega või lihtne;
  • vigade parandamise kaudu uuendada graafiline shell - BIOS Update. See säte eeldab edastamine tarkvara mikrotasandil välja BIOS protsessor tõrgete korral töös CPU. Tavaliselt viga tuvastada arendajatele ja et nende kõrvaldamiseks on toodetud uuendatud püsivara liides.
