ASRock Introduces Affordable H110M-DS/Hyper Mainboard

ASRock enters the market with another budget-oriented micro-ATX mainboard – the H110M-DS/Hyper (the recommended price makes up $60). The greenhorn is designed on Intel H110 chipset as well as ASRock Hyper BCLK Engine. The latter realizes the overclocking of Intel Skylake CPUs (for Socket LGA1151) by means of BCLK alteration; therewith, all other key nodes operate off-the-shelf.

ASRock H100M-DS/Hyper employs 4+1-phase power subsystem. The PCB accommodates 2x DIMM slots for DDR4-2133 MHz RAM with the maximal volume of 32 GB. Storage subsystem is represented by four SATA III ports, whereas expansion facilities include one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 2.0 x1 ports.

Audio subsystem is governed by Realtek ALC887 controller and three 3.5-mm sockets. In its turn, network facilities are backed by Realtek RTL8111GR controller. Connectivity options embrace one RJ-45 port, one DVI video port, two PS/2 ports, and four USB ports for peripherals (both v 2.0 and v 3.0).

MSI Launches Z87 MPower MAX AC Overclocking Motherboard

All PC enthusiasts and overclockers are now able to enjoy all the privileges of a wireless connection thanks to a new release from MSI. The company’s latest addition to Z87 motherboard series – the Z87 MPower MAX AC – might boast the incorporation of Intel Dual Band module that supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0 connections. Moreover, due to the employment of two frequency bands (2.4/5 GHz), the speed of wireless data transfer achieves 867 Mb/sec.

It goes without saying that MSI Z87 MPower MAX AC is based on Intel Z87 Express chipset that supports Intel Haswell CPUs for socket LGA1150. All system components are soldered on a black-and-yellow 6-layer PCB; hardware base is implemented according to MSI Military Class 4 concept. Standard Fireware (IEEE 1394) – meetod info edastamiseks digitaalsel kujul on järjepidev ja kiire-bussiga. Enamikul juhtudel on see standard, mida kasutatakse andmevahetuseks arvuti ja seadmete salvestus/taasesitus video ja heli.
