Palit is enlarging its lineup of GeForce GTX 1060 adapters with a pair of new models. The GTX 1060 Dual 3GB and the GTX 1060 StormX 3G are developed on Nvidia GP106-300 GPUs (16 FinFet), featuring 1152 CUDA cores, 72 TMUs & 48 ROPs. It runs at 1506/1708 MHz frequency (standard/dynamic). Both models are accompanied by 3 GB of GDDR5 memory (192-bit bus) that operates at 2000/8000 MHz frequency (standard/efficient).
The key differentiation between the models lies in the cooling system. Palit GeForce GTX 1060 StormX 3G is equipped with a single fan, replenished with a main heatsink and an additional one, housed on the power circuit. In its turn, Palit Geforce GTX 1060 Dual 3GB is fitted with a voluminous rectangular heat spreader, three copper heat pipes as well as two fans. Thus, it’s an ideal choice for overclockers.
