Gainward GameSoul GeForce GTX 1080/1070 Graphics Cards Got the Factory Overclocking

GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 GameSoul series graphics accelerators by Gainward are ready for release. These products are meant for powerful game-playing machines and VR systems.



Graphics cards are based on the 16 nm NVIDIA GP104 chip with Pascal architecture. The GeForce GTX 1080 model has 2,560 streaming processors, 160 TMU and 64 ROP. The card features 8 GB of GDDR5X memory with a 256-bit bus.


In its turn, GeForce GTX 1070 comprises 1,920 streaming processors, 120 TMU and 64 ROP. The volume of the GDDR5 memory with a 256- bit bus equals to 8 GB.


Both novelties possess the factory overclocking. The GeForce GTX 1080 chip core base clock is raised from 1,607 MHz to 1,733 MHz, the augmented frequency — from 1,733 MHz to 1,873 MHz. The GeForce GTX 1070 version frequencies boosted from 1,506 MHz to 1,620 MHz and from 1,683 MHz to 1,822 MHz.

Gigabyte to Start Selling X99M-Gaming 5 Motherboard

Gigabyte Technology is about to come out with a new micro-ATX gaming motherboard. The X99M-Gaming 5 features a promising black-and-red design, an enforced VRM system, and a sophisticated cooling solution. It is powered by Intel X99 chipset compatible with Intel Core i7/Haswell-E processors for socket LGA 2011-3. Heat dissipation process is entrusted to aluminum heatspreaders, joined by a nickel-plated copper heat-pipe.

The Enermax company releases two new MaxTytan series power supplies of 1050 and 1250 W rated capacity. These products are 80 Plus Titanium certified and are highlighted due to the presence of the watt-hour meter in their construction, which monitors current system energy consumption.



The Enermax specialties are equipped with high temperature (105°C) capacitors, produced in Japan, and are protected from various abnormal modes. Through a 12V circuit the upper model can provide up to 104 А (1,248 W), and the lower sample — up to 87.5 А (1,050 W). Peak bearable power of these devices is 1,375 and 1,155 W.


Enermax MaxTytan components are chilled by 140 mm fans, based on Twister bearing. The fans start rotating only after load overcomes 70% of nominal power.
