Antec, a well-known multi-profile hardware designer, is about to release its newest mid-tower case, entitled P70. The model attracts attention by a strict classic design with a solid steel framework, polycarbonate coating, and low noise level. Featuring 458x205x465 mm dimensions, it supports as mini-ITX/micro-ATX mainboards, so full-format ATX ones. The recommended retail price will probably make up $70.



Antec P70 comes with two external 5.25-inch bays, one external 3.5-inch bay as well as four 3.5/2.5-inch internal bays for HDD/SSD. Expansion facilities are backed by seven slots. It should be underlined that all drives and cards might be installed without accessory tools due to the implementation of a tool-free mounting system. With flexibility of application in mind, HDD bays are rotated 90 degrees.

SilverStone has added to its inventory a straightforward-styled mid-tower chassis. Entitled Precision PS13, the new-comer features 426x400x126 mm dimensions and weighs 3.36 kg. It is targeting micro-ATX/ATX motherboards with the maximum of 7 expansion slots. The all-black frontal panel houses a large fine-meshed grille that optimizes airflow within the case. Pricing is set at $41.25.



SilverStone Precision PS13 allows installing a pair of external 5.25-inch drives and one external 3.5-inch drive. Internal layout stipulates the installation of three more 3.5-/2.5-inch drives. In Q2 next year Philips is going to launch retailing of its new product, demonstrated at the IFA 2017 exhibition. It’s a huge 49-inch 492P8 monitor, based on the curved VA (Vertical Alignment) matrix with the 32:9 aspect ratio, which can provide tough competition to the analogous C49HG90 sample from Samsung, however, the price is lower and equals 899 EUR/1,077 USD.



Philips 492P8 got the 3840 x 1080 resolution, 1,800 mm curve radius, 600 cd/m² and the 5000:1 static contrast. Viewing angles are 178° horizontally and vertically. There is no info about the response time and the refresh time yet. In the meantime, the manufacturer claims, this display can be utilized in multi monitors configuration, when displays are located next to each other or one above the other.
