Gigabyte to Start the Sales of G1.Sniper B5 Motherboard

Gigabyte is planning to start the sales of its newest motherboard that entered G1.Sniper series. Codenamed G1.Sniper B5, the ATX model features 30.5x22.5 mm dimensions and is based on Intel B85 Express chipset. It is equipped with socket LGA1150, supporting latest Intel Haswell (Core line) CPUs. The layout and incorporated facilities prove the motherboard’s orientation on advanced gamers’ segment.



Gigabyte G1.Sniper B5 has been elaborated in compliance with a brand Gigabyte Ultra Durable 4 Plus design concept. The latter is called to elongate the lifespan of all the components and enhance their productivity by providing the utmost security measures. Hence, key components, including high-end solid-state capacitors, are protected from high temperatures, static voltage, humidity, and voltage fluctuations. Within the Framework of OCP U.S. Summit 2018 Seagate Technology Introduces the 14 TB Seagate Exos X14 HDD

Currently the Seagate Exos X hard disk drives family contains of two models – the 10 TB Seagate Exos X10 and the 12 TB Seagate Exos X12. These products are constructed for data centres and cloud storages. During the OCP U.S. Summit 2018 event the American manufacturer has introduced its new top-rated HDD of the series mentioned, called Seagate Exos X14. The capacity of the device is 14 TB.



The specialty is produced in a regular 3.5-inch form factor with the PMR (Perpendicular Magnetic Recording) technology applied. Supposedly, the novelty is built on the latest platform utilizing nine 1.55 TB platters. However, this information has not come from the vendor. The spindle rotates at 7,200 rpm.
