Western Digital introduces its large-capacity external memory device. The WD My Book Duo product offers up to 20 TB for secure data storage and is aimed at home and professional users.



The My Book Duo framework features the special microcode software and houses an array of two WD Red hard drives and, optimized for RAID modes. The array may function in RAID 0 or RAID 1 configuration.


The novelty has a USB Type-C interface with necessary cables added, which makes this device universally applicable – it supports USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.0/2.0. Beyond that My Book Duo contains two USB 3.0 Type-A hub ports for peripheral and mobile devices connection.
