Kingmax, a renowned manufacturer of various data storage and memory solutions, has replenished its SME Xvalue lineup of solid-state drives with a pair of new series. Codenamed SME 32 Xvalue and SME 35 XValue, both series count three models of 60 GB, 120 GB, and 240 GB capacities. It should be noted that the first lineup is predestined to be installed into laptops and small-sized devices, whereas the second one – into desktop PCs.
SME Xvalue SSDs are designed in 2.5-inch form-factor and feature 100.5x69.85x7 mm dimensions. All of them employ SATA 6 Gb/sec interface and are based on MLC NAND flash memory. The drives can operate under 5V voltage within the temperature ranges of 0-+70 degrees. The manufacturer claims that their fail-proof operation time might achieve an unbelievable index — 1.200.000 hours.
