Corsair Introduces a Spacious 'Godzilla' PC Case

Corsair, known for its multifarious PC hardware products line, has introduced its new chassis with a promising name Obsidian 900D Godzilla. The attribute 'Godzilla' speaks for itself: the case features truly voluminous dimensions of 655x694x251 mm. Its weight is also impressive and its internal layout is ready to welcome the whole galaxy of motherboards of different form-factor, including ATX, XL-ATX, E-ATX, HP-ATX.



Obsidian 900D Godzilla goes in black coloring and one of its side panels is equipped with a transparent acrylic window that uncovers some internal components. Such impressive dimensions offer free spacing for the integration of fifteen (!) 3.5-inch (or 2.5-inch) drives, ten PCI expansions cards, and four bays for the drives of 5.25-inch dimensional type. Iiyama Unveils a New 23-Inch ProLite X2382HS Monitor

Iiyama, a renowned Japanese manufacturer of visual solutions, is going to introduce a fresh PC monitor, entitled ProLite X2382HS. The product is based on a prime-quality IPS array that ensures high resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (Full HD). The new-comer is characterized by a stylish design with glossy components and a steady-state display stand. It features 548.5x213.5x388.5 mm dimensions.



Iiyama ProLite X2382HS is thought to have quite responsive array time – 5 ms. It secures the most real color rendering, as well as wide viewing angles (178 (H)/178 (V) aspects). The implementation of an offbeat LED positively redounded on the monitor’s power efficiency: on usual operational mode it consumes not more than 26 W of power, whereas its maximal consumption achieves 45 W only.

NEC Replenishes Its MultiSync Series with MD242C2 Monitor

NEC has replenished its product line with a new 24-inch monitor that joins MultiSync series. Codenamed MD242C2, the model is housed in a case of a rather strict design, featuring 556.8x227.6x378-528 mm dimensions. Upon the whole, this monitor positions itself as the most appropriate solution for medical establishments, providing for an accurate imaging.



Monitor NEC MD242C2 is based on IPS array with LED backlit and 12 ms response time (8 ms in Gray-to-Gray mode). Its operational resolution equals to 1920x1200 pixels, while the display aspect ratio makes up 16:10. Viewing angles, both vertical and horizontal, equal to 178 degrees, brightness achieves 350 cd/m2 and static contrast is estimated as 1000:1. NEC employs 14-bit look-up tables (LUT) to ensure proper color output and more accurate display of gray hues in blackened areas.
