ROG Strix XG32VQ – the Latest Curved Monitor from ASUS – Belongs to the Gaming Line and Supports AMD FreeSync

ASUSTeK Computer reported the launch of the 31.5-inch ROG Strix XG32VQ gaming monitor retailing. Officially the product was introduced at the Computex 2017 event.



The device has a curved VA panel by Samsung, featuring the 1,800 mm curvature radius, the 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD) resolution, 300 cd/m2 max brightness, as well as wide viewing angles (178° horizontally and vertically). Unfortunately, the static contrast ratio is not indicated, it usually stands as 3000:1 with this type of displays. The novelty offers the 4 ms (GtG) response time, 144 Hz refresh rate and supports the AMD FreeSync technology. ROG Strix XG32VQ covers 125% of the sRGB colour gamut, which allows it to produce highly coloured and saturated imaging.

Arctic Cooling Intros Two Modifications of Freezer CPU Cooler

Arctic Cooling AG, a well-known Swiss developer of cooling solutions, has recently introduced its newest CPU cooler, Freezer, in two modifications: i11 and A11. Both versions have got tower-like framework, featuring 108x90x130 mm dimensions. The Freezer i11 is compatible with Intel LGA 2011/1156/1155/1150 socket platforms, whereas its companion is intended for AMD Socket FM1, FM2, AM3, AM3+, AM2, and AM2+. To say more, this pair is able to cool down the ‘blaze’ of CPUs with 150 W TDP.



Arctic Freezer i11/A11 consists of an aluminum heatspreader with forty-five plates, three U-shape copper heatpipes, and one 92 mm fan. The heatpipes are thought to support direct contact technology that dramatically improves heat transfer process.

QPad Intros MK-70 Mechanical Keyboard for Gamers

Gamers with basic needs are rejoiced with the news about the release of a fresh field-specific keyboard: the QPad MK-70. It features LED backlight with four levels of brightness and Cherry MX switches, accompanied with prime build quality, convenient layout, and unrivalled durability. Furthermore, this keyboard is estimated for 50 million strokes.



The MK-70 features 44.8x15x3.5 cm dimensions and weighs 1.4 kg. It is connected to the system case by means of a gold-plated USB connector with a dedicated PS/2 adapter included. Special media keys allow gamers to control volume, pause & play the game and skip tracks with a single stroke; in their turn, special mechanical keys enable N-key rollover and plug & play options.


Cherry MX Red switches operate with an actuation point of 2 mm. They facilitate precision and control in gaming applications which require multi-tapping. These switches have got neither audible, not tactile feedback, although properly fulfill their duties.
