Design
The VP2768’s design is very simple: the panel is thin, there are no sharp edges, the form is flowing. The color is black, the material is plastic. Minimalism – is the main advantage of the given monitor.
 
You can turn the screen up to 60 degrees to each side, 2° forward tilt and 5° back.  Also you can move the stand up and down to reach the most comfortable position for your most productive work or playing.


On the screen frame you will not find even a logo. There is no LED and control buttons. All these things are situated aside. The glossy stand is big and solid.
 
The power button you will find underneath – it is highlighted with blue. With the help of other buttons you can control color modes, luminance, input selection, and the main OSD.
 
There are no speakers built in, but audio is supported by a single 3.5mm output jack.

We will not go into details and say simply: while practically all the created content is designed for sRGB space, there will be enough displays for all ordinary consumers (including photographers and even those who call themselves professional photographers) with the so-called standard color coverage, that is, close to sRGB.
Built-in technology provides uniform color reproduction across the entire screen, while the 14-bit three-dimensional code table generates a stunningly uniform palette of 4.39 trillion colors.
 
When you look at the professional monitors of the old school, you see exotic taillights, such as GbR or even RGB LED. Some new screens also have quantum dot filters. These technologies serve to increase the color gamut and improve color accuracy. But the displays of the new school have changed the way to perfection. Instead of using expensive components, they simply improve and improve themselves.
 
The screen on the ViewSonic VP2768 gives an excellent of the box performance for a factory calibrated monitor. At default, contrast sits at 1050:1 and gamma are superb at 2.3, although these are achieved with 100% brightness which reaches 345cd/m2. Color has a delta E of 1.7 which already makes this an outstanding product. sRGB coverage is perfect with a little excess in blues and reds, ensuring images are lifelike and pleasant for eyes.
