LG 34UC79G – The First-Born Gaming Monitor of LG

Introduction

Until recently, LG did not release monitors (and other devices) with an orientation on the gamer audience. In LG models of monitors there were already some developments, technologies and modes for games, but in general they were universal monitors. Now the Korean company has a whole line of gaming monitors, one of the most «stuffed» — LG 34UC79G. LG claims that 34UC79G is the world's first ultra-wide (21: 9) curved game monitor with a frame rate of 144 Hz and an IPS matrix. The monitor is filled with various technologies and functions, which make the game process as comfortable as possible. Among them: Motion Blur Reduction, Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, AMD FreeSync and digital sight, we'll talk about them in detail later. There are modern interfaces HDMI version 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, plus a USB hub and audio outputs for speakers and headphones.

The KingSpec NE Series NVMe 1.3 SSD Line Is Represented by the 120, 240, 480 and 960 GB Models

The KingSpec vendor presented its new solid-state drives family, performed in accordance with the NVMe 1.3 specification. Up to this moment we hold no information about price and market launch date, however we possess knowledge of key peculiarities of these devices.

 

The NE Series M.2 SSD line samples are produced with the 3D TLC NAND flash mem chips. The novelties comply with the М.2 2280 standard while being 22 × 80 mm in size. The frontal part is protected by a rich red covering.

 

The NVMe (NVM Express) specification presupposes the SSD access via the PCI Express bus, which enhances read/write speeds rates and diminishes delays. KingSpec NE Series drives ensure the 2,400 MBps read speed and the 1,700 MBps write speed. IOPS during the 4 KB data chunks handling is up to 76,400 (read) and 96,200 (write).
