ZOTAC Releases the Fanless ZBOX PI335 Compact PC Equipped with the Intel Apollo Lake Processor
In case you are looking for a slimline computer for solving simple routine tasks you should pay attention to the novelty in the ZOTAC ZBOX PICO series – namely the ZOTAC ZBOX PI335 model, featuring the entirely passive cooling.
The specialty is built on the 14 nm Intel Apollo Lake N3350 Processor (dual core/two threads, 1.1–2.4 GHz) with the integrated Intel HD Graphics 500 graphics engine. The capacity of the preinstalled LPDDR3 memory is 4 GB, and of the eMMC drive – 32 GB. The drive subsystem can be expanded via the memory card (microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC) or external USB storage device connection. This is facilitated by one USB 3.0 Type-C and two USB 3.0 ports.
Networking of the ZOTAC specialty is realized through the gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port and a module of 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.2 wireless interfaces. The combo 3.5 mm audio jack allows linking speakers or headphones, and HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces let connect monitors. Besides, VESA mounting is added to the supply kit.
The ZBOX PI335 case’s dimensions are 115 х 76 х 20.7 mm. This mini PC will hit the shelves in the middle of November with the 64-bit Windows 10 Home version preinstalled. The price is unknown, however, the product is expected to cost around $200.
