Thermaltake Unveils Chaser A71 Full-Tower PC Chassis

Thermaltake has lately made an official presentation of a new full-tower chassis, entitled Chaser A71. The model features 565x205x537 mm dimensions and a rather stylish design. Its side panel contains an L-shape acrylic window that makes an exposure of all internal components. Moreover, the two out of four pre-installed fans are furnished with a bright blue LED that enigmatically illuminates the framework.

Being a full-tower solution, Chaser A71 is housed in a quite spacious case. It gladly welcomes ATX, mATX and Extended ATX motherboards, eight expansion cards of up to 344 mm in length, six hard drives or solid-state drives, three optical drives, a heatsink (of a liquid-cooling system) up to 240 mm, and a compatible power supply unit. The maximal supported CPU cooler height should not exceed 160 mm.

I/O panel is represented by a dense group of ports, indicators and keys: Power button, HDD activity indicator, a pair of USB 2.0 and the same number of USB 3.0 ports, and standard 3.5 mm mini-jack for headphones and a microphone. The layout is notable by the availability of dedicated holes for an unimpeded mounting of CPU cooler, special accessories for screwless integration of drives, and a liner for a neat cable management.

The chassis is equipped with four pre-installed fans. The first fan is located on the side panel and features 200 mm dimensional type (with blue LED); it runs at 600 RPM and produces not more than 13 dB. The second 120 mm fan found its place on the rear facet; its maximal rotational speed achieves 1000 RPM and noise level equals to 16 dB. The third 200 mm fan is mounted in the top facet (with blue LED) and develops the speed of 600 RPM at 13 dB. Finally, the fourth fan is located on the frontal part and features 200 mm dimensions; its rotational speed is estimated as 600 RPM, while its produced noise level is stuck at 13 dB.
