Deepcool Debuts with the First Mid-Tower Case Entitled Pangu

Deepcool has been producing high-efficiency cooling solutions for many years in a row. Nonetheless, the company decided to expand its production line with PC cases. Deepcool Pangu is the first company’s elaboration in this segment. It is developed in a mid-tower form-factor and comes in two color variations – black and white. Samsung Showcases SD850 Series of Corporate Monitors

Samsung has officially introduced a new series of corporate-class monitors entitled SD850. The series currently combines two models: the S27D850 and the S32D850. Both boast a number of similar features, including resolution, imaging modes, the number of video interfaces, although are differentiated by dimensions and some other specifications. Pricing and release date are unknown.



Samsung S27D850 is equipped with 27-inch PLS panel that offers 350 cd/m2 brightness and a standard 1000:1 static contrast. Its companion, Samsung S32D850, features 32-inch VA panel with the maximal brightness of 300 cd/m2 and static contrast index of 3000:1.


Both new-comers are characterized by 2560x1440 pixel resolution, 5 ms response time, and what is more striking, 100% color gamut in sRGB environment. The rear facet of the display accommodates three video ports: DisplayPort 1.2, DVI, HDMI 1.4. Besides, there is a USB-hub that offers four USB 3.0 ports.

Radeon Vega Frontier Edition by AMD Is a Professional Solution of the Radeon PRO Line

At the Financial Analyst Day 2017 event, AMD has presented Radeon Vega Frontier Edition, which is a video card from the Radeon PRO family.



The novelty is a professional solution, based on the Vega GPU with 64 computing units (4096 streaming processors). It offers 16 GB of HBM2 memory (High Bandwidth Cache). The memory bandwidth claimed is 480 GB/sec. Single precision compute performance (FP32) is 13 TFLOPS, and the half-precision compute performance (FP16) is 25 TFLOPS. Regarding this data, one can assume that GPU frequency comes up to 1,586 MHz.


According to AMD announce, Radeon Vega Frontier Edition is a device, meant for such tasks as games and VR content development, visualisation and machine learning.


A good news is that the Radeon Vega Frontier Edition graphics cards delivering starts in June this year. The price is unknown yet, however, we should remember, that we are talking about a professional device, which most likely will cost pretty much.
