Packaging
The Auraflow 240 is in black color, and its size is really great. On the front side of the box there is a beautiful photo of the pump and radiator of the SZHO, and just below there are the key features of the product. More detailed information about the cooler, as well as its technical characteristics can be found by the customer on the back and sides of the box.

Inside the main box there is a familiar basket of porous cardboard with sections for the components of the given liquid cooling system. From the top there is additionally coverage with a soft panel made of foamed polyethylene.
It’s very interesting that the recommended cost of the Auraflow 240 which was produced in China is 99.99 US dollars. Apparently, the price boost was caused by the availability of backlit fans and additional cables.

Main Features
ID-Cooling Auraflow 240 consists of a water block with a copper base and built-in pomp on a ceramic bearing, a pair of 315 mm long hoses and an aluminum radiator with the size of 240 mm. A pair of 120 mm SF-12025 fans is supplied with the SVO, with the support for speed control using PWM in the range from 700 to 1800 rpm. The maximum airflow is 74 CFM (126 m³/h) with the noise level of up to 35 dBA.
The kit comes with a special adapter that allows you to connect the entire backlight to a single 4-pin connector. The list of compatible processor platforms includes Intel LGA 2011 (-3), LGA1366, LGA115x, LGA775, AMD AM4, FM2 (+), FM1, AM3 (+) and AM2 (+).

The size of the aluminum radiator (the main component of the system) is 274×120×27 mm.
The length of the tubes connecting the pump and the radiator should be 315 mm, but in fact, if you do not take into account the fittings, it reaches only 285 mm. The diameter of the tubes is 12 mm.
Developed polymer tubes are used here, which are more flexible and look more aesthetic.
There are 12 channels in the radiator of the FZO, placed with 8 mm distance from each other. Between them the aluminum corrugation is situated.
The fin thickness is 15 mm, the edge density is 18 FPI.
On the top cover of the pump there is the ID-COOLING company logo and a strip of LED lighting around the circumference.
This model is notable for its ability to develop a higher static pressure and to provide efficient cooling of the radiator even at low speed. The latter are regulated by pulse-width modulation in the range from 700 to 1800 rpm. The airflow of each fan can reach 74.5 CFM, the static pressure is 2.15 mm H2O, and the noise level is from 18.0 to 35.2 dBA.

From each fan leaves a 260-mm cable to connect to the motherboard, as well as a cable to connect to the backlight adapter. The connectors of the latter are covered with a silicone cap, which is very reasonable, since bending or, worse, breaking thin needles is very easy.

Silicone dampers are installed at the corners of the fan frame.

Auraflow 240 is compatible with all modern processors, except the AMD Ryzen Threadripper. The process of the system installing on each of the supported platforms is step-by-step and accessible in the instructions and its installation does not differ from other liquid cooling systems of this type.

In the closed-type ID-Cooling Auraflow 240, the company focused on RGB-backlighting, which can synchronize color and effects with the Asus Aura system. The water block is provided with a light diffuser in the form of a letter C. The fans of the radiator have illumination. The backlight power is supplied with a separate 12 V connector on the system board.

The given device is capable to work with illumination systems of the following four motherboard manufacturers: with AURA illumination from ASUS and ASRock, as well as with RGB Fusion illumination of Gigabyte boards and with Mystic Light of MSI boards.

Conclusion
The backlighting of its fans and the pump in interconnection with the motherboard and the modes of operation of its backlighting really look very attractive. This system in a case with a transparent side wall or on an open stand will make an indelible impression on all your friends and even can help to create a mini disco, because the rhythm of the backlight can be synchronized with the music. So in this case Auraflow 240 worked perfectly!
It is able to provide overclocked processors decent cooling with a minimum noise level. To conclude we can mention the versatility, the ultimate simplicity of installation, the three-year warranty, and sufficiently competitive price as well.
