The ID-Cooling Dashflow 240 Liquid Cooling System Is Claimed to Offer 50,000 Hours of Life Time

The novelty by ID-Cooling – namely the Dashflow 240 liquid cooling system – is compatible with AMD and Intel processors. To be more specific, the device can be utilized with the AM4/FM2+/FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2 and LGA2066/2011-3/2011/1366/1151/1150/1155/1156 chipsets. The manufacturer claims, its product is able to chill CPUs, while disseminating up to 350 W of heat energy.

 

The latest ID-Cooling solution consists of a water block and an aluminium heatsink, being blown around by two 120 mm fans, rotating at the 900–2000 rpm speed. Dashflow 240 received a high-level pump and 350 mm long connecting hoses. The service life reported equals 50,000 hours.

 

The specialty supports the multi-colour RGB-backlighting, alongside with ASUS AURA Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Light Sync technologies.

Asustor Launches a Pair of AS 5 Series NAS

Asustor, a renowned Taiwanese network systems developer, comes to the market with a couple of new NAS devices which supplemented AS 5 series. The AS5008T and the AS5108T feature eight bays (each) for the drives with the maximal capacity of 48 TB. All the drives might be combined into a range of configurations, including JBOD, Single, Hot Spare, RAID 1/5/6/10. The pair is backed by a 3-year’s limited warranty.



Asustor AS 5 models cooperate with ADM 2.3 OS and come with an integrated firewall. They are thought to support Cloud Connect technology as well as power-saving Energy Saver features. Both NAS boast the support for AES-256 encoding algorithm and LooksGood utility (plus its mobile version – AiVideo). The latter provides for the playback of digital TV, record of TV-programs, and playback of videos from NAS into a mobile device.

MSI Introduces a Pair of Cubi 2 Mini-PCs

MSI has enriched its inventory with a pair of mini-PCs. The Cubi 2 Plus and the Cubi 2 Plus vPro feature 155.3x147.9x58.6 mm dimensions. Both models come equipped with a 90-watt power adapter and run on Windows 10 Home OS. The first new-comer is based on Intel H110 chipset, while the second one – on Intel Q170 version. The pair supports the installation of either Intel Core i3-6100T CPU (3.2 GHz frequency), Intel Core i5-6500T (2.5-3.1 GHz frequency) or Intel Core i7-6700T (2.8-3.6 GHz frequency).



MSI Cubi 2 Plus mini-PCs employ Intel HD Graphics 530 GPU, up to 32 GB of DDR4-2133 MHz RAM, allowing to install a single M.2 SATA solid-state drive (up to 256 GB capacity) and a single 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD (up to 1 TB capacity). Network facilities are introduced by Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, Gigabit Ethernet port, 802.11b/g/n or 802.11ac Wi-Fi module.
