ASRock Showcases H61M-VG4 Motherboard for Ivy Bridge Processors

In spite of the commotion incited by the upcoming release of Intel Haswell processors and the growth of products compatible with their technical requirements, Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs will continue their existence in the market for some time more. For the nonce, ASRock has elaborated a new micro-ATX motherboard, codenamed H61M-VG4. The newly-designed product is based on Intel H61 Express chipset with Socket LGA1155, supporting Intel Ivy Bridge/Sandy Bridge processor lines. According to ASRock, all potential customers will be able to receive quite efficient system for a budget price.



ASRock H61M-VG4 is furnished with two DIMM slots which support two-channel DDR3 memory modules of up to 16 GB capacity, running at 1066 MHz, 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz frequencies. Expansion facilities are realized by means of a single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot and a single PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot. Preliminary specifications and release date of GeForce GTX 6500

On August 16 it is planned to release one of the first mainstream cards Nvidia family Kepler — GeForce GTX 660 Ti. Different sources are still disagree considering its characteristics. Galaxy Unveils a Shortened Version of GeForce GTX 760 Adapter

Galaxy Microsystems, a reliable partner of Nvidia, has recently unveiled its own, shortened version of GTX 760 graphics adapter. Codenamed Galaxy GeForce GTX 760 GC Mini, the card employs a reference GK104 GPU (28 nm), but is differentiated by an original PCB and a factory overclocking. The implemented circuit board features 193 mm length dimensions and is elaborated on a blue textolite.



The new-comer is furnished with 1152 CUDA cores that run at 1019 MHz but can be overclocked up to 1084 MHz. Video subsystem is introduced by GDDR5 modules with 256-bit interface. The overall capacity of modules makes up 2 GB. The GDDR5 demonstrates rather striking performance, considering the card’s middle-end destination: the modules are able to gain 6008 MHz clock frequency.
