Recently the ASUS Co. has replenished its range of small-sized computers with the VivoMini UN65U sample, operated by the Windows 10 OS and based on the Intel Kaby Lake hardware platform.



The top version is equipped with the Core i7-7500U processor, the chipset has two cores with the 2.7 GHz frequency, which dynamically increases to 3.5 GHz. The Intel HD Graphics 620 accelerator is also installed. The capacity of the DDR4-2133 memory may reach 32 GB.


This minicomputer may obtain a 1 TB 2.5-inch HDD and a 512 GB М.2 SSD. Optionally one can mount the latest Intel Optane memory.


Key specifications include Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless adapters, alongside with a Gigabit Ethernet network controller. The novels, designed in mid-tower form-factor, have been entitled as Luxo M20 and Luxo M30. Both models are housed in reliable steel cases (SECC) but have got some plastic insertions. Their dimensions are outlined as 440x192x430 mm. No information about the pricing or exact release date has been promulgated so far.

Featuring 125x136x159 mm dimensions, the model allows for the installation of up to four fans, combined with a nickel-plated base, six copper heat pipes and a two-section voluminous heatsink which consists of 80 ribs (40 ribs for each section).



This cooler is known to support all up-to-date platforms, developed by Intel and AMD. As distinct from the majority of rivals, the Neptwin V2 framework is ready to accept four fans which operate by means of PWM technology. The base version comes with only two fans.
