The first to hit the stores were three 16-thread 8-core Ryzen 7 line samples: 1700, 1700X and 1800X. The base clock of Ryzen 7 1800X is 3.6 GHz, 1700X – 3.4 GHz, 1700 – 3.0 GHz. Boost frequencies are equal to 4.0, 3.8 and 3.7 GHz respectively. 1800X and 1700X feature 95 W TDP, the 1700 model’s rate is 65 W. Ryzen 7 1800X costs $499, 1700X – $399, 1700 – $329.
In the second quarter 6- and 4-core Ryzen 5 products will be released, and later this year they will be joined by Ryzen 3 models. All these devices are intended for system boards with AM4 sockets and possess an unlocked multiplier.
