Adata Technology enters into the market with a new series of SSDs, codenamed Premier Pro SP920. Initially, the customers will be able to acquire only two models of 128 GB and 256 GB capacity, though the manufacturer promises to enlarge the line later on with more spacious drives of 512 GB and 1 TB capacity. All the models feature a conventional 2.5-inch form-factor and are based on Marvell controller, accompanied by multi-level MLC NAND flash-memory.
Solid-state drives Adata Premier Pro SP920 employ SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface. Their design is peculiar by 7 mm depth, thus it will be possible to incorporate them into ultra-slim devices. The availability of a dedicated adapter, as well as a special mounting set, facilitates their installation into the 3.5-inch bays.
