Biostar has just announced the release of motherboards from Puro Hi-Fi series. The series involves five models, two of which are delivered with Intel Core processors (second and third generation) for LGA 1155 CPU socket. The other three boards go with AMD A series CPUs for FM2 socket. In accordance with the company's words, the new products will be a pleasant surprise for all audio enthusiasts, providing a range of advanced audio facilities.
All motherboards included in Puro Hi-Fi series are equipped with highly efficient graphics that is compatible with all updated video outputs (DVI, HDMI), as well as with HDCP technology. The integration of PCI-e 3.0 x16 bus promotes for the enhancement of video performance and the creation of digital graphics AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI configurations. Moreover, Biostar motherboards contain all later-day interfaces: SATA 3.0, LAN GbE, USB 3.0 ports.
The implemented multi-layer circuit boards are characterized by soundproof properties due to the Hi-Fi Ground technology; it protects audio signal sources from malicious laying and channel blending. Hi-Fi Resistor facility ensures the authenticity and stability of sound production. The integrated capacitors are developed under Cap Hi-Fi technology that minimizes sound distortions.
To continue, Biostar Puro Hi-Fi boards accommodate 7.1-channel Realtek ALC892/898 codecs of HD/HD Blu-Ray audio format. The company has taken care to supply users with utmost sound effects, implementing THX TruStudio Pro and Puro Tone technologies. The first technology ensures the production of live music effects, while the second one secures the authenticity of multi-channel sound production. One more technology, Multi-Channel Calibration, provides for the adjustment of the most appropriate acoustic environment for a particular place.
Power supply subsystem is represented by 13-phase, 10-phase and 6-phase voltage stabilization system. The first one is applicable in Z77X model, the second one – in A85X model, and the third one – in all the rest models.
