AeroCool has replenished its line of gaming PC chassis with two new models, codenamed Strike X Xtreme Black Edition and Strike X Xtreme White Edition. Both cases are distinguished by an enhanced framework reliability and a sophisticated cooling system. Plus, an upgraded functionality allows for the creation of various powerful system configurations.



AeroCool Strike X Xtreme chassis are developed in mid-tower form-factor and are housed in solid steel cases (SECC) with voluminous ventilation grids. Internal layout is sufficient for the installation of ATX or micro-ATX motherboards, graphics cards of up to 293 mm in length, and CPU tower-like coolers of up to 172 mm in height. In addition, internal framework stipulates the integration of seven PCI-cards, four 5.25-inch devices (all with an output to the frontal facet), and of six 3.5-inch drives. The nominal delivery kit also contains a dedicated adapter for the installation of 2.5-inch SSD devices.

Codenamed EK-CoolStream WE, the new-comers feature Circle SQuare (CSQ) design that shows compatibility with practically all water/liquid-cooling systems. They employ high-quality copper pipes and fins, as well as brass alloy enclosures which provide for an adequate cooling of entrusted components.



EK-CoolStream WE heatsinks are ready to welcome additional fans of 180x180x25 mm dimensions. Most notably, the company recommends using EK-FAN 180 PWM fan based on a fluid-dynamic bearing, estimated for 30.000 hours of foolproof operation. This model operates at 500-900 RPM, ensuring sufficient airflow thanks to the well-trimmed blades. The installation of fittings is possible due to the availability of G ¼ thread.

NZXT has proudly announced the release of its newest PC chassis, codenamed Phantom 630 Windowed Edition. Being a modified version of Phantom 630 model, the ‘greenhorn’ is developed in ultra-tower form-factor, featuring a side-panel window. The case supports quite large motherboards (ATX, EATX, XL-ATX, and micro-ATX) and offers nine expansion slots.



Despite visual discrepancy with the original model, Windowed Edition preserved some of its basic features. Therefore, it allows for the integration of four 5.25-inch drives and eight 3.5/2.5-inch ones. The latter are installed into modular bays which can be removed if necessary. The chassis is ready to accept CPU coolers of 200 mm in height and long graphics adapters (up to 325 mm in length). In case the user decides to remove the internal drive bays, it will become possible to employ much longer adapters, up to 507 mm!
