Enermax, one of the outstanding players in the PSU and cooling market, has recently paid great attention to the development of other hardware pieces, including chassis and cases. Its Fulmo series vindicates that the company has plenty of shot in the locker to beat competitors and marvel customers. Enermax Fulmo ST ECA3270 is probably the most interesting model within the series, with a bit strict, aristocratic design but rich internal layout. But, is that truly so? Let’s find it out.



Design Peculiarities


First of all, it should be mentioned that Fulmo ST ECA3270 comes in two color variations: black and dark-gray. Color is not the only feature that diverges the couple, since black version is furnished with fan backlights. At CES 2018 HP introduced its latest gaming display sample, belonging to the BFGD (Big Format Gaming Displays) conception. The novelty, named HP Omen X 65, is a hybrid device, combining gaming monitors and full-scale LCD TVs, which makes it a versatile solution for a living-room.

 

HP Omen X 65 obtained the 65-inch panel with the 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution. The monitor complies with the HDR10 standard, while featuring the 1000 cd/m² max brightness, as well as the 120 Hz refresh rate. The Nvidia G-Sync technology is applied.

 

Among the device’s peculiarities one may distinguish the embedded Android based Nvidia Shield gaming console. Raijintek, a young but future-proof company, has recently showcased another addition to its CPU cooling solutions – the Nemesis. This is a tower-like model targeting initially overclockers and PC enthusiasts. It features 140x130x166.5 mm dimensions and weighs 1050 g. The fans of extreme cooling can enjoy all privileges of Nemesis right now, since it’s already available for pre-order in the European market for the retail price of 60 EUR.



Raijintek Nemesis consists of a copper base, five nickel-plated U-shape heatpipes, and a pair of asymmetric aluminum heatspreaders, accompanied by two fans of 140x150x25 mm standard. The fans are manipulated by powers of PWM technology, so their speed might vary from 600 RPM to 1400 RPM.


Their unified efficiency achieves 119 CFM of produced airflow; that is quite enough to cool down rather hot CPUs. Moreover, the framework allows to utilize the cooler as in active, so in passive mode when the loading is low.
