SilverStone Outs Strider Platinum Power Supply Units

SilverStone technology is about to launch three new PSUs which join Strider Platinum family. The ST55F-PT, ST65F-PT and ST75F-PT offer 550 W, 650 W and 750 W power correspondingly. The new-comers are housed in a classic black chassis, featuring 150x86x140 mm dimensions, and are based on Sirtec platform. The latter complies with ATX 12V 2.4 requirements. Moreover, all models boast 80Plus Platinum certificate, since their efficiency achieves 94% in 230V networks.



SilverStone Strider Platinum units feature an entirely modular design. Cooling is ensured thanks to a pre-installed 120-mm fan that rotates at 1500 RPM on 100% loading and at 1000 RPM on 70% loading. It produces not more than 18 dB noise and might operate trouble-free for some 100 thousand hours.

ASRock Introduces Affordable H110M-DS/Hyper Mainboard

ASRock enters the market with another budget-oriented micro-ATX mainboard – the H110M-DS/Hyper (the recommended price makes up $60). The greenhorn is designed on Intel H110 chipset as well as ASRock Hyper BCLK Engine. The latter realizes the overclocking of Intel Skylake CPUs (for Socket LGA1151) by means of BCLK alteration; therewith, all other key nodes operate off-the-shelf.



ASRock H100M-DS/Hyper employs 4+1-phase power subsystem. The PCB accommodates 2x DIMM slots for DDR4-2133 MHz RAM with the maximal volume of 32 GB. Storage subsystem is represented by four SATA III ports, whereas expansion facilities include one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 2.0 x1 ports.
