Nvidia Titan Z Graphics Card to Be Launched in the Howe of the Year

Nvidia has recently announced the most powerful graphics adapter in its inventory, entitled GeForce GTX Titan Z. The model is primarily outstanding by the incorporation of two high-performance GK110 GPUs, accompanied by the extraordinary memory space. An official launch of this video monster is scheduled for the mid 2014 and the preliminary price tag makes up $2999.

Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan Z is supposed to be a representative of a new generation of graphics solutions, targeting mainly high-efficiency PC systems. In whatever way, the model is not targeting gaming systems, so that its potential could be entirely employed by the developers of audio-video content. As it was mentioned beforehand, the card is based on two Nvidia GK110 chips with the summary 5760 CUDA cores, 96 ROPs, and 448 TMUs. Still, clock frequency index has not been unveiled so far.

Video storage is compiled by 12 GB of GDDR5 memory with 768-bit interface. According to the designers, an efficient memory …

MSI Unveils New Gaming Graphics Card GeForce GTX 760 Hawk

MSI has recently introduced its newest graphics adapter with the support of Twin BIOS technology. Codenamed MSI GeForce GTX 760 Hawk, the card positions itself as an optimal solution for inveterate gamers, as well as for overclockers. The new-comer is based on Nvidia’s GK104 GPU (28 nm technological process) with 1152 CUDA cores. It runs on dynamically heightened frequencies, as compared with the reference model.

Therefore, the nominal clock frequency has been raised from 980 MHz to 1033 MHz, whereas the overclocked frequency has jumped from 1111 MHz to 1176 MHz. As for the memory, represented by 2 GB GDDR5 modules with 256-bit rail, its frequency index has not undergone any changes: 1502 MHz/6008 MHz (nominal/overclocked).

To continue, GTX 760 Hawk takes a fully modified 8-layer PCB as the basis. GPU power supply is ensured by means of an efficient power converter and prime-quality Military Class 4 components, including solid-state Hi-C CAP capacitors with tantalum …

Greeting PowerColor Radeon R9 290X New-Generation Graphics Cards

PowerColor has officially introduced a pair of high-efficiency graphics cards developed on the new-generation Radeon R9 290X series adapters. Codenamed PowerColor Radeon R9 290X, both new-comers support the latest graphics technologies, i.e. DirectX 11.2 and OpenGL 4.2. The models feature a totally identical design, still there is one differentiation: one of the models is equipped with a key to Battlefield 4 game. Such ‘bonus’ has resulted in a bit heightened price of $580, if compared with the standard model that costs $550.

Both cards are based on AMD Hawaii XT chip. It has been dynamically overclocked by PowerColor to 1030 MHz, whereas the nominal clock frequency remained the same – 800 MHz. In order to enhance the performance, the GPU has been supplemented with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory with 512-bit interface that runs at 5000 MHz.

To proceed with the specifications, both graphics adapters accommodate four rear video ports (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-I, and DVI-D). …
