Foreword

For half a year everyone who wishes to acquire a system based on Intel Core 8-th generation processors needs to focus exclusively on models with the top-end Intel Z370. Most recently, Intel has expanded the range of Coffee Lake chips and finally offered manufacturers more affordable PCH. Intel B360 has a special role here. Today we have the first model based on Intel B360 - ASUS ROG STRIX B360-F GAMING.

 

The importance of new PCHs for manufacturers in general and Intel B360 in particular is the only evidenced by the fact that on one chipset ASUS offers more than fifteen motherboards in the PRIME, TUF GAMING and ROG STRIX series. In turn, ROG STRIX B360-F GAMING is the top model based on Intel B360.

The Low-End ELSA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB LP Graphics Accelerator Is Compatible with Media Streamers and Doesn’t Require Auxiliary Power

The ELSA vendor has introduced the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB LP video card, intended for compact systems with tight inner space, like home media streamers. Its dimensions are defined to be 169 × 68.9 × 33 mm.



The novelty is a low-profile product, taking two expansion slots and featuring the cooling system with a couple of fans. This graphics accelerator is based on the 14 nm Pascal GP107 chipset. It offers 768 streaming processors, 48 TMUs and 32 ROPs. The 4 GB GDDR5 memory with the 128-bit bus is utilized.


The specialty by ELSA operates at reference frequencies. Its base clock equals 1,290 MHz and its boosted clock is 1,390 MHz; the memory frequency reaches 7,000 MHz.


One should note, that this graphics card doesn’t require auxiliary power. It is supplied with three connectors, providing image output – namely the DisplayPort 1.2, Dual link DVI-D and HDMI 2.0b interfaces.
