HV300 and HD330 Are New Highly Protected Bulk Memory Units by ADATA

The ADATA manufacturer has officially introduced two new external memory units, called ADATA HV300 and ADATA HD330.

 

ADATA HV300 obtained a stylish and thin (10.3 mm only) case. The other novelty, instead, got a protected shockproof design with the absorbing silicone covering. Both devices are available in 5 capacity variants – 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 TB, to be more precise. Besides, all of them have a USB 3.1 port.

 

The two specialties by ADATA are supplied with a special sensor, registering shocks or cases of falling down during operation and terminating the inner drive activity to prevent data corruption or bad-sectors emergence. Happy owners of ADATA HV300 and ADATA HD330 may utilize brand HDDtoGO software for free, so they get a possibility to encrypt data with the help of 256-bit AES-algorithm.

 

The novelties will be shipped in various colour versions with the interface cable added to the supply kit. Prices are unveiled yet.

SilverStone Debuts with SST-ST30SF Power Supply

SilverStone Technology has recently introduced its newest SFX power supply unit. Codenamed SST-ST30SF, it features 125x100x63.5 mm dimensions and weighs 800 g only. The unit is estimated for 300 W power and is capable to demonstrate more than 81% efficiency in 230 V networks. High efficiency level allowed the model to gain 80Plus Bronze certificate.



The most uncommon feature ascribed to SST-ST30SF is that it can operate in passive mode if thermal conditions allow. The unit is equipped with a fan of 80 mm dimensional type; it starts rotating only when the surrounding temperature reaches 55 degrees. This promotes for a considerable power reduction and practically silent work when the fan gets disabled. An average noise level on active operation makes up 18 dB.

Three New Nettop Models of NanoPC Series from Foxconn

Foxconn Electronics introduces three new nettops which replenish NanoPC 7000 series. All three, NanoPC AT-7300, NanoPC AT-7500 and NanoPC AT-7700, are claimed to be practically noiseless due to the improved integration and layout base. As scheduled by Foxconn, all the models will become available in March 2013 and will be priced at $390, $480, $600 correspondingly.



These nettops are based on Intel Ivy Bridge platform but are equipped with a bit different CPUs. Thus, NanoPC AT-7300 model accommodates Intel Core i3-3217U processor that operates at 1.8GHz clock frequency; NanoPC AT-7500 model houses Intel Core i5-3317U processor with 1.7GHz clock frequency; NanoPC AT-7700 takes Intel Core i7-3517U processor with 1.9Ghz frequency as the basis.
