The ARO-M14 Cooling System by Thermalright Has Went Out into the World

The Thermalright company has commercialized the ARO-M14 cooling system, designed for AMD Ryzen processors. The novelty got the shape of a standard tower cooler. It’s available in two versions differing in colour of the upper plate of a heatsink. The manufacturer claims, its product is able to disseminate up to 240 W of heat output.

The Thermalright ARO-M14 heatsink with the 140 x 115 x 162 mm dimensions weighs 720 g. The system features the copper nickel-plated base, six copper heat pipes (6 mm in diameter) and an array of aluminium fins.

The supply kit contains a 140 mm TY-147 fan, operating at the 300–1,300 rpm velocity. The propeller produces up to 73.6 CFM (125 m³/h) airflow at the ultimate 21 dBA noise level. The list of processing platforms supported includes AMD AM4 only.

One may purchase Thermalright ARO-M14 in many European stores for about €50.

Indiegogo Introduces Its Breakthrough Development, Namely the Q-Stick Breloque Computer

Indiegogo presented its groundbreaking product, being the Q-Stick breloque computer. The developers believe this project will result in producing the most effective device of the class.

The specialty is planned to be manufactured in two modifications — Blaze Plus and Blaze Pro. The first one got the Atom x7-Z8700 processor (this 14 nm solution has four 64-bit Airmont cores, the 8th generation Intel graphics and the 2-channel controller of the LPDDR3 memory. The 1.6 GHz clock rate may be boosted to 2.4 GHz.

The Blaze Pro version obtained the Atom x7-Z8750 chip with four computing cores, operating at the 1.6 GHz rated clock speed. The ultimate clock reaches 2.56 GHz.

The devices are supplied with 8 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11n/ac wireless adapters, a slot for the microSD card of up to 128 GB capacity, the HDMI connector, two USB 3.0 ports, the USB Type-C interface, as well as the …

The Ultra-Wide Brilliance 492P8 Monitor from Philips

Half a year ago Philips announced an ultra-wide Brilliance 492P8 monitor. However, the product was slightly upgraded on its way to the market. Instead of the 49-inch VA matrix with the 3840x1080 pixels resolution (32:9 aspect ratio) the specialty obtained the 49-inch panel with the 5120x1440 resolution.

Other specifications were left without modifications. Thus, Philips Brilliance 492P8 features the 1,800 mm curvature radius, the 5000:1 static contrast, the 600 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 178° viewing angles (horizontally and vertically). The PC can be connected via HDMI, DisplayPort and D-Sub ports. The back panel contains the USB-C, USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit network interface.

Customers may expect the release of Philips Brilliance 492P8 in the final quarter this year. The recommended price is kept in secrecy and it is unclear how will the matrix upgrade influence the display’s price. Initially this device was to hit the shelves in …
