Để kết nối MÁY tính để Internet là không thể thực hiện trực tiếp, mà không có một trợ lý modem. Modem (điều chế-giải điều chế) là một thiết bị đặc biệt chuyển đổi tín hiệu, đường dây của các nhà cung cấp dữ liệu số công nhận bởi máy tính.
