Introduction Until recently, LG did not release monitors (and other devices) with an orientation on the gamer audience. In LG models of monitors there were already some developments, technologies and modes for games, but in general they were universal monitors. Now the Korean company has a whole line of gaming monitors, one of the most «stuffed» — LG 34UC79G. LG claims that 34UC79G is the world's first ultra-wide (21: 9) curved game monitor with a frame rate of 144 Hz and an IPS matrix. The monitor is filled with various technologies and functions, which make the game process as comfortable as possible. Among them: Motion Blur Reduction, Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync, AMD FreeSync and digital sight, we'll talk about them in detail later. There are modern interfaces HDMI version 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, plus a USB hub and audio outputs for speakers and headphones.

First seen at CeBIT exhibition, CPU cooler SlimHero from Gelid has turned into an off-the-shelf product. The new-comer joined Gelid Silent cooler series and is already available for customers at the price of around $32. The major distinctive peculiarity applied to the cooler is its framework: it features only 59 mm height that is quite appropriate for the installation into small-sized mini-ITX/mini-Tower PC cases or into advanced HTPC systems. 
Transcend expands its lineup of SSDs with a new model – the SSD220S. It is based on 15-nm TLC memory chip available in 240 GB & 480 GB capacities. The model employs SATA 6 Gb/sec interface as well as DDR3 cache-memory. The drive is housed in a small-sized aluminum case (100x69.85x6.8 mm dimensions).
