Corsair Introduces Brand New LL120 RGB/LL140 RGB Framework Fans

The list of essential Corsair products is now replenished by two fans models – namely LL120 and LL140 RGB. The American company’s novelties are based on the fluid bearing and, as we see from their names, feature 120 and 140 mm impeller diameters. The RGB-LED backlighting should also be marked out.



The backlighting system includes 16 RGB LEDs, divided into two rings. The manufacturer claims, backlighting can perform the role of RGB strips, allowing adjust lighting effects more flexibly. One must note, that backlighting is regulated with the use of the Corsair Link utility via a dedicated Lighting Node Pro controller, supplied with sets of two or three fans.


Corsair LL120 and LL140 RGB fans support PWM rotary speed managing in the range of 600–1500/600–1300 rpm in respect. The lower-end model ensures the 43 CFM (73 m³/h) airflow at the 25 dBA noise level. The 140 mm sample at the same noise condition produces the 51.5 CFM (87.5 m³/h) airflow.

Akasa Intros a Small-Sized AK-CC1101EP02 CPU Cooler

Following the release of a low-profile cooler, codenamed AK-CC7122EP01, Akasa is glad to introduce one more small-sized item. The AK-CC1101EP02 features 80x80x28.3 mm dimensions and is predestined to be employed as a part of a compact system within mini-ITX/micro-ATX chassis. The model is compatible with AMD FM1/FM2/754/939/AM2(+)/AM3(+) sockets only.



Akasa AK-CC1101EP02 involves an aluminum heatsink with cam-lever clip installation type, a thermal compound on the base, and a 80 mm fan. The latter is based on EBR bearing and equipped with PWM technology that adjusts the rotational speed from the minimal 600 RPM to the maximal 3000 RPM.


Its efficiency achieves 26.53 CFM, producing up to 27 dB noise. The estimated time of fail-proof operation equals to 40.000 hours. The fan is adjoined to the motherboard via a 4-pin connector and receives voltage power via 12VDC bus.


Just for comparison means, the predecessor — AK-CC7122EP01 – features 85.2x87.2x26 mm dimensions. …

Vendors Present the Shuttle X1 Nettop as a Gaming Mini PC

Shuttle is well-known for its nettops, cases and barebone systems. In the meantime it presented its latest product – a mini PC under the X1 code name.



Despite the fact that a nettop cannot function as a gaming system, a pilot Shuttle X1 hybrid is developed to prove a negative. The novelty will operate the NVIDIA graphics accelerator, support VR content and 4K video.


Reportedly, Shuttle X1 will be based on the unidentified Intel processor. Vendors assure that by the time of release the chipset chosen will be one of the most innovative Intel solutions for devices of such a format. Customers should also expect Intel Optane support and presence of many interfaces for peripherals and accessories connection on the X1 chassis.
