Area Claims the Development of Four New Expansion Cards

Area, a Japanese hardware retail company, has voiced its intentions to release four new expansion cards with SATA III interface and USB 3.0 ports. The announced products are called to present additional expansion facilities to PC systems. According to the present-day data, the release will include four models: PE4U3E-3E1 Sport Quattro, D-EP34U3R-S3, SD-PEU3R-2T2IL, and S-PESA3ES2L.



The first model, codenamed PE4U3E-3E1 Sport Quattro, will be based on Etron EJ188 controller. It will accommodate four USB 3.0 ports, three of which are external and the other one – internal. This expansion card will employ PCI Express 2.0 x2 bus for the connection to the PC interface.


The second model, codenamed D-EP34U3R-S3, will operate under the supervision of Renesas D720202 controller. The model will include two external and two internal USB 3.0 ports. The Iiyama ProLite XUB2790HS-2 Monitor Is Able to Satisfy Home and Office Users in Equal Measure

The novelty from the Iiyama Corporation – the ProLite XUB2790HS-2 monitor – is able to kill two birds with one stone, as far as it is aimed at home and office utilizing at the same time.



The display got a 27” AH-IPS panel with the Full HD 1920 × 1080‎ pixels resolution. This monitor features the 5 ms grey-to-grey response time, the 250 cd/m2 brightness, the 1000:1 contrast ratio and the 5 000 000:1 dynamic contrast. Viewing angles are 178 degrees horizontally and vertically.


ProLite XUB2790HS-2 obtained 2 W stereo speakers. DVI and HDMI digital interfaces, as well as the analogous D-Sub connector serve for the signal source linking. The power consumption claimed is 27 W.

Enermax has enlarged its lineup of fans with D.F.Vegas series. The series consists of two models: the D.F.Vegas & the D.F.Vegas Duo. The key differentiation between the two solutions lies in the current intensity as well as LED backlights. The first new-comer is equipped with 12 blue diodes, while the second model houses 12 red and 12 green diodes.



Enermax D.F.Vegas fans boast the implementation of self-purification technology – Dust Free Rotation (DFR). During the first ten seconds of operation the fan rotates contrary clockwise and then returns to standard rotational mode. That is how dust and litter is removed from the blades. If there is a need in manual cleansing, the blades can be easily detached.
