Entitled Full Copper and Full Nickel, both products are attributed to the universal cooling solutions, due to the incorporation of special fixtures which are known to show compatibility with all contemporary desktop processors. Hence, their mounting might be realized without the engaging of any tools.


The major differentiation between the two models lies in the enclosure: Full Copper features a copper base and a copper waterblock lid, while Full Nickel is distinguished by all nickel coverage. At the same time, both novices have got similar framework of the base with an advanced system of micro-channels. Crucial is about to launch a new series of voluminous SSDs, entitled MX300. The lineup consists of 2.5-inch models with thin cases (7 mm only), targeting as desktop so mobile platforms. Additionally, the delivery set offers a dedicated 2.5-inch frame for the installation into a 9.5-inch bay. The capacity of drives makes up 275 GB, 525 GB, 750 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.



SSDs Crucial MX300 is developed on 32-layer Micron 3D NAND TLC chips (48 GB) as well as Marvell 88SS1074 controller. Data transfer process is realized via SATA III (6 Gb/sec) interface. The maximal sequential Read/Write speed equals to 530 MB/sec/510 MB/sec. In its turn, the maximal random data transfer index approximates 83.000/92.000 IOPS (Read/Write).

NZXT Develops a New Generation of Phantom Chassis

NZXT, a company known for the development of multifarious hardware products for gamers and PC enthusiasts, announced a new generation of chassis, supplementing Phantom series. The first model designed under new technologies is codenamed Phantom 820 and will go in Full-Tower form factor. The company promises that the new product will preserve 'gaming-like' external integration with futuristic design, transparent acrylic window with bright lighting, and angular casing lines.



NZXT Phantom 820 will be compatible with a range of motherboard standards, including uITX, mATX, ATX, E-ATX, and XL-ATX. Its dimensions allow for the integration of six 3.5/2.5-inch drives, four 5.25-inch drives, nine slots for expansion cards of PCI standard, and graphics adapters of up to 350 mm in length (with two HDD bays).
