Iiyama Corp., a renowned Japanese supplier of TV and PC displays, is going to launch a new 20-inch monitor in several days. Codenamed E2080HSD, a new product extends ProLite series and features 478x204x351 mm dimensions. The BenQ Co. Launches the manufacturing of its Full HD 24.5-inch monitors under the GL2580HM code name.This specialty by BenQ obtained the ergonomic design, thin bezels and a TN matrix and the 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution. It features the 1000:1 contrast ratio (the 12 000 000:1 dynamic contrast) and the 250 cd/m2 brightness. The response time equals to 2 ms (Gray to Gray). The viewing angles of the device are 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically.
GL2580HM has the Eye-Care technologies set implemented to protect users’ eyes from harmful impact. The BenQ Low Blue Light Plus system reduces the blue light influence and diminishes tiredness, and the Flicker-Free tech removes blinking at all brightness levels.
The panel provides the 72% coverage of the NTSC colour gamut. Signal sources linking is possible via HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub interfaces.
