The High-End M.2 ADATA XPG SX7000 Drive with a PCI Express 3.0 x4 Interface

The novelty by ADATA – XPG SX7000 – has recently joined the company’s model line of high-speed solid-state drives. This product is performed in the M.2 2280 format and operates on the base of 3D NAND TLC chips and SMI controller. The manufacturer offers four capacity options, namely 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.



The PCI Express 3.0 x4 interface and the NVMe 1.2 specification make ADATA XPG SX7000 highly efficient. It ensures the 1,800 MB/s of reading and 850 MB/s of writing speed. The random performance at 4 KB data handling corresponds to 130,000 and 140,000 IOPS. Thus, these rates are much higher than those of standard HDD and SATA SSD, which provides a perfect system responsiveness, as well as high productivity.


Additionally the ADATA XPG SX7000 SSD features the DRAM memory cache and supports SLC Caching, LDPC ECC, RAID Engine and Data Shaping. The 5-year warranty is supplied.

Seagate Announces a Bunch of New SSDs Targeting Various Segments

Seagate Technology, one of the leading players in HDD/SSD industry, announces the release of its first solid-state drive targeting consumer segment and next-generation drives targeting corporate field. Therefore, corporate clients will be able to enjoy the privileges of Seagate 1200 SSD that is primarily predestined for the implementation into high-end server systems. These drives will be released in three capacity versions (200 GB, 400 GB and 800 GB) and will employ SAS interface with 12 Gb/sec bandwidth.



Seagate 600 SSD is developed in 2.5-inch form-factor with two case depth modifications: 5 mm and 7 mm. The new-comers are supposed to be the most optimal solution for laptops and other small-sized devices. One of the popular chassis series Aerocool — XPredator – is relevant again, thanks to the emergence of two new design options the Evil Blue and Devil Red. Apart from a small «cosmetic repairs» newcomers got two ports USB 3.0.



Full-Tower hulls of XPredator Evil Blue and Devil Red (respectively, black and blue and black and red) are made from cold rolled galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.8 and 1.0 mm. Their weight is about 13.4 kg, dimensions — 600 (H) x 234 (W) x 555 (D).
