SilverStone Showcases a Pair of New Add-Ons to the Strider Gold S Series

SilverStone has recently replenished its production lineup with a pair of new power supply units. Codenamed Strider Gold SST-ST75F-GS and SST85F-GS, the couple has entered the award-winning Strider Gold S series. As seen from the codenames, the units are estimated for 750 W and 850 W power correspondingly. Thanks to the incorporation of unprecedented features and some 90% efficiency, the products has picked up 80Plus Gold award.



The Strider Gold S new-comers feature a totally modular design and are developed in ATX form-factor. They are equipped with a single +12V bus. The latter is able to ensure the maximal performance for a gaming system, due to the maximal current of 62/70 A for the junior and senior models respectively.


It should be noted that SST-ST75F-GS and SST85F-GS correspond to all actual security standards. As a result, the units support voltage stabilization features (in the range of ± 3%), as well as vibration-proof and noise reduction features. This …

Meeting Soon: Two New Chassis of Luxo Series from Gigabyte

Gigabyte, a globally-celebrated PC hardware manufacturer, is going to launch two new PC chassis, embraced in Luxo series. The novels, designed in mid-tower form-factor, have been entitled as Luxo M20 and Luxo M30. Both models are housed in reliable steel cases (SECC) but have got some plastic insertions. Their dimensions are outlined as 440x192x430 mm. No information about the pricing or exact release date has been promulgated so far.



New chassis from Gigabyte are equipped with four pre-installed fans of 120 mm dimensional type. In addition, it’s possible to incorporate one more fan to enforce the existing cooling system. Traditionally, the products are available also for the installation of a liquid-cooling system; for this Gigabyte has drilled a couple of holes on the rear facet for the connection of water-cooling tubes.

Thermalright to Release a New Venomous X RT Rev.SB-E Cooler



Less than a week is left till the official launch of a new CPU cooler from Thermalright, codenamed Venomous X RT Rev.SB-E. The product is going to hit the market already on 12 April and will cost around $69. One of the key peculiarities assigned to the novel lies in its universal bracket system that promotes for a hassle-free installation into the majority of present-day platforms: AMD Socket AM2(+), FM2, FM1, AM3(+), as well as Intel Socket 775, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011.


This tower-type CPU cooler consists of a large heatsink, six heat pipes and a single fan. The heatsink is made of aluminum and has got nickel-plated cooper base. Its dimensions feature 127x60x160 mm. The integrated heatpipes boast nickel-plated coverage that ensures longer durability and better heat removal performance.
