Meet a New Masterpiece from Cooler Master: Storm Stryker Casing

Cooler Master developers have recently voiced good news for their most exacting customers: the sales start of casing CM Storm Stryker is round the corner. The new model takes the design of its predecessor CM Storm Trooper but has several striking peculiarities which make the product a real design masterpiece. CM Storm Stryker is developed in a Full-Tower form factor and is distinguished by the prevalence of white color combined with black inclusions. The framework is made of solid steel that serves the protective shield for the casing ‘filling’. In addition, the casing is equipped with a handle which makes the casing transportation rather hassle-free.



The availability of an acrylic window in the left faceplate and the cooling cages for hard drives are considered to be the major peculiarities of CM Storm Stryker. Three New Nettop Models of NanoPC Series from Foxconn

Foxconn Electronics introduces three new nettops which replenish NanoPC 7000 series. All three, NanoPC AT-7300, NanoPC AT-7500 and NanoPC AT-7700, are claimed to be practically noiseless due to the improved integration and layout base. As scheduled by Foxconn, all the models will become available in March 2013 and will be priced at $390, $480, $600 correspondingly.



These nettops are based on Intel Ivy Bridge platform but are equipped with a bit different CPUs. Thus, NanoPC AT-7300 model accommodates Intel Core i3-3217U processor that operates at 1.8GHz clock frequency; NanoPC AT-7500 model houses Intel Core i5-3317U processor with 1.7GHz clock frequency; NanoPC AT-7700 takes Intel Core i7-3517U processor with 1.9Ghz frequency as the basis.

The Apogee SKF Waterblock by Swiftech

The Californian water cooling systems components manufacturer – Swiftech – has unveiled the release of the CPU waterblock, called Apogee SKF.

 

This cooler is compatible with up-to-date platforms from Intel and AMD. The list of processors supported includes Intel LGA 115x, LGA20xx, AMD AM2, AM3 and AM4. Besides, the version for AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs will have been released by the end of the month. The specialty is equipped with the RGB LED-backlighting and is able to draw heat away from the hottest CPU’s parts quite effectively (if what is said by the vendor is true).
