Cooltek Rolls Out Thermolab CPU Coolers

Enlisting up support of a well-known German manufacturer PC Cooling GmbH (Cooltek brand), Thermolab brought on the European market a pair of small-sized CPU coolers. Codenamed LP53 and ITX30, the products are differentiated by the depth of the copper plates and the dimensions of the pre-installed fan. Both new-comers are predestined for mini-ITX and micro-ATX platforms with Intel LGA1156/1155/1150 socket and 100 W TDP processors.



The Thermolab LP53 features 100x94x53 mm dimensions and weighs 410 g (including fan). It consists of a copper base, two 6 mm heatpipes, and 7-blade PWM fan of 92 mm dimensional type. The latter is able to rotate within the speed range of 1000 RPM to 2100 RPM, producing up to 27 dB noise. The cooler’s price does not transcend 37 EUR.

The Mid-Tower X2 Samurai Case from Spire Is ATX and MicroATX Motherboards Compatible

The X2 products range of the Dutch-Chinese Spire Company has been replenished by a new Mid-Tower Samurai chassis, which is ATX and MicroATX motherboards compatible.



X2 Samurai is produced out of 0.5 mm SPCC steel and is capable to hold seven 1-slot expansion cards, an АТХ-compatible power unit, two 3.5” and a pair of 2.5” drives, as well as two devices of the 5,25” format. This novelty allows to install up to five 120 mm fans.


The PC case is designed in two versions: with a fully acrylic and with a perforated side panel, providing a prospect for installing 2 extra 120 mm fans. Please, note, that the X2 Samurai supply kit doesn’t include illuminated fans, which, however, add showiness to outer appearance. The I/O panel features one USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 ports, a universal card-reader slot and a couple of Mini-Jack.

Thermaltake Enters the Market with NiC L31 and L32 CPU Coolers

Thermaltake Technology has just started shipping a pair of budgetary CPU coolers from NiC series. Entitled NiC L31 and NiC L32, these two models are compatible with all updated Intel and AMD platform motherboards. In keeping with the manufacturer, the new-comers will not obstruct the mounting of memory modules, due to their well-considered framework. Hence, they consist of small-sized heatsinks, three U-shape heatpipes (8 mm), and a base that is in direct contact with the CPU.



The first model, NiC L31 (codename: CL-P001-AL12RE-A), features 140x128x40 mm dimensions and weighs 530 g. The integrated 120 mm fan might operate in various speed modes – from 500 RPM to 1800 RPM – thanks to the support for PWM technology. It produces up to 70.99 CFM and dissipates up to 160 W power.
