Transcend Rolls Out StoreJet Cloud Storages

Transcend brings to the market a pair of unique cloud storages – the StoreJet Cloud 110 & the StoreJet Cloud 210. The first new-comer is equipped with a single 3.5-inch drive bay (max. capacity – 4 TB), while the second one avails two bays, offering up to 8 TB capacity and the possibility to create RAID 1 arrays (mirroring). The bays support HDD/SSD with SATA II interface.



Transcend StoreJet Cloud storages take a two-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, running at 1.1 GHz frequency. It is accompanied by 256 MB of DDR3 memory. The advantage of such combination lies in high power efficiency and affordable price. Both models are characterized by a sleek design & the support for remote access, data backup, and stream processing options.

Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v2 Review

EVO X DDR4 Memory Kits and Modules with RGB Lighting from GeIL

GeIL has announced the release of EVO X DDR4 Memory Kits and Modules for PCs equipped with motherboards based on the Intel X99 and Z170 chipsets.



The key speciality of these products is the GeIL HILM (Hybrid-Independent-Light-Module). These entirely independent solutions feature LEDs, a microcontroller, a mode select switch and two power supply connectors.


On one side of modules there is a 12 volt 4-pin slot for establishing a connection with LED strips on the motherboard. It enables adjustment of the backlighting. Compatibility with MSI Mystic Light, ASUS Aura and Gigabyte Ambient LED systems is provided. On the other side of modules one can see a 9/12 volt 2-pin slot, which makes it possible to choose one of the lighting modes with the help of the switch.
