Enermax Unveils Staray Lite and Staray Silence Chassis

Enermax Technology Corporation, an established manufacturer of varied PC hardware and peripherals, has unveiled a pair of new chassis, codenamed Staray Lite and Staray Silence. Both products are elaborated in mid-tower form-factor (472x185x421 mm dimensions) and are predestined for those users who suppose quality and reliability a must. These chassis feature very similar external design but their internal layout differs a bit.



Models Lite and Staray are ready to house four external drives of 5.25-inch standard, five internal drives of 3.5-inch standard, and seven expansion slots. They support ATX/micro-ATX motherboards and can accommodate up to four 120 mm fans. Additionally, there is a possibility to install a liquid-cooling system, due to the availability of dedicated holes for cables on the rear facet.


Staray Lite is delivered with only one pre-installed 120 mm fan, located on the frontal panel. It can be supplemented by three more fans on the rear and side facets. I/O …

Antec Replenishes High Current Gamer M Series with Two New PSUs

Antec decided to expand its renowned High Current Gamer M series of power supply units with two new models. Codenamed HCG-750M and HCG-850M, the units are characterized by modular cable connectivity and rather high level of efficiency (up to 81% in 230V networks). Not for nothing this couple is honored by 80Plus Bronze certificate that vindicates their prime-quality. It must be noted that existent internal framework is totally the work of Seasonic, Antec’s contractor.



Both new-comers are equipped with four PCI Express Power (6+2)-pin cables and support 10/12/14/16-contact power sockets. The layout consists of two virtual +12V rails, Active PFC mechanism, and high-class Japanese capacitors. HCG-750M allows for the maximal loading on +12V rail of 62A at 744W, whereas HCG-850M allows a bit higher loading of 70A at 840W.

SilverStone Readies 8-Bay CS380 NAS PC Case

SilverStone is about to release a standalone solution – a PC case with 8 bays for NAS or HDD/SSD subsystem. The CS380 boasts sleek design and is made of steel & plastic. Featuring 487.5x426.5x215.3 mm dimensions, internal layout is targeting ATX motherboards with up to 7 expansion slots. The recommended retail price makes up 121 EUR.



SilverStone CS380 comes fitted with three 120-mm fans: one is situated on the rear panel, while the two others – on the side panel. Their ultimate rotational speed approximates 1200 RPM. The chassis supports PS/2 ATX power supply units, 241-mm long graphics card and 146-mm high CPU cooler.


One of the key attractions of the NAS case is the frontal panel. It looks like a door with a lock which hides 8 disc bays, the external I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and two 3.5-mm audio jacks as well as a Power button. Furthermore, the drives support hot swapping function – thus, the user can retrieve the item any time during the operation.
